Rio Station is a family owned restaurant in Rio Grande, New Jersey featuring World Famous Crab Cakes. Almost everything on the menu is made from scratch and cooked to order using only the finest ingredients.
Executive Chef Richard Rutherford III trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has applied his culinary skills from the west coast to the east coast. Now serving not only as Executive Chef, but also as General Manger, Chef Rick has been working diligently to take the Rio Station to the next level; providing the very finest food along with incredible service. His hand-selected staff and management team, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, are committed to making certain guests enjoy their dining experience.
With an extensive wine list including selections from around the world, the Rio has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 6 years in a row. Sommelier and owner Ric Rutherford has traveled the world to find and select the best wines for his cellar. When the time is right for each wine, Ric brings them out of their temperature controlled storage to offer to our guests.
